The Mona Lisa, also known as Portrait of Lisa Gherardini, wife of Francesco del Giocondo, is a portrait painted by Italian artists Leonardo da Vinci. The portrait is small, about the size of an A4 page, yet it took over a decade to complete. Da Vinci worked on the image between 1503-1519. The world famous painting of The Mona Lisa now hangs in the Louvre in Paris.

The Vitruvian Man was created around 1487, and is so called because it is accompanied by notes on the architecture of Vitruvius. The famous sketch is an overlay of two images; that is, two images of the same man in two different poses. The Vitruvian man has intrigued people for centuries, and continues to be popular today.
